This dynamic duo from the Agoura Hills area (please see photos) adopted this beautiful, 22-year-old thoroughbred from our main shelter on Tuesday. We are always thrilled, as you all might imagine, when an older horse can find its way back into a loving family. We believe this sweet horse, was once in the races (it had a tattoo and its name was Twice the Charm) and he had been with us since Nov. 12.

Twice the Charm was first at our San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus. The horse was transferred to the main shelter a week ago. Volunteer Donna Caplan helped to get the word out about the horse and Linda "Cooper" Cooper and Jamie Sailor, featured here, picked him up for adoption.
