Welcome to the Healthy Pet Zone program! Our desire is to help pets and families stay together.
Through a variety of activities, we can address some of the needs that may assist you in keeping your pet at home. Some of these include:
FOOD PANTRY
If you are in need of pet food, please visit one of our shelter locations and ask to speak to a supervisor.
TEMPORARY BOARDING FOR PERSONS EXPERIENCING CRISIS
During a crisis, it can be difficult for persons to accomplish what needs to be done or recover and still care for pets. The Department offers temporary boarding for persons in emergency circumstances, such as in the event of homelessness, or domestic violence situations. This service must be arranged directly through a homeless service provider or domestic violence service provider.
