Woman Attacked by Dogs; 3 Dogs Impounded
TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2012 – Three loose dogs attacked a Riverside woman late Monday night (May 14) in the city of Riverside's La Sierra neighborhood.
The woman drove herself to an area hospital and was treated for injuries. She suffered bite wounds to her upper right thigh and lower buttocks.
The attack happened at about 10:20 p.m. in the 3900 block of Pierce Street, inside the Corona Pointe Apartments complex. The three dogs were all pit bull mixes and owned by a resident there. Officers from the Riverside Police Department responded, as did a sergeant from Riverside County Animal Services.
