Virulent Newcastle Disease Update from State Veterinarian

This week brings some good news and, unfortunately, some disappointing news, as well. The regional quarantine is still in effect. For a list of virulent Newcastle disease cases since the outbreak began in May 2018, visit the USDA VND website.

Riverside County Department of Animal Services is now sheltering animals for the City of Colton. If you reside in the City of Colton and have lost your pet, please visit the Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter Location.

In addition, stray pets are uploaded to our website every hour.

Riverside County does not conduct field services for the City of Colton.

If you need the assistance of a field officer, please contact the City of Colton Animal Services at:

General information and after hours emergency line: 909-370-5000
