Virulent Newcastle Disease Update from State Veterinarian

This week brings some good news and, unfortunately, some disappointing news, as well. The regional quarantine is still in effect. For a list of virulent Newcastle disease cases since the outbreak began in May 2018, visit the USDA VND website.

Our clinic at the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus is currently not accepting appointments for spay/neuter services or offering vaccination clinics. We expect to schedule these services in the very near future. The department apologizes for any inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE: We are still making appointments for spay and neuter surgeries at our clinic in the Jurupa Valley shelter.

SPAY & NEUTER APPOINTMENT REQUEST

By emailing us, you are requesting an appointment only. Surgery is not booked until a representative confirms a date and time for your pet’s surgery. There may be up to a 2 week wait to receive correspondence. The quickest way to schedule your pet’s appointment is by calling Riverside at (951) 358-7387 or San Jacinto at (951) 791-3700.

We ask the pet owner to arrive at the respective clinic on the day of surgery between 8:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. The pet owner will receive discharge instructions on the morning of the appointment.

To speed up your wait time, please have your Pet History and Surgical Consent completed and signed prior to arriving for surgery.
