A woman found a pup inside a trash bag inside a Dumpster last night in Jurupa Valley.

The Good Samaritan brought it to us this afternoon and, due to the pup’s age (5 weeks), we immediately found one of our rescue partners willing to foster the pooch for us. Veterinary team members nicknamed the dog “Kitten” because she was so tiny and she resembled a newborn feline. The address where the pup was found is: 5803 Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley.

The rescue organization, FurEver Pawz, works with us a lot and will foster this pup until she is healthy and old enough for a permanent home.

NOTE: We do not have any footage of where the dog was dumped, FYI; just footage at our shelter of veterinary team members caring for the dog and its transfer to a rescue group.
