A Good Samaritan discovered this slider turtle outside his home and noticed the turtle had a hook stuck in its mouth. The Jurupa Valley resident brought the turtle to Riverside County Animal Services' shelter in Jurupa Valley on March 12, 2018 and it was there that staff Veterinary Dr. Karen Moreland safely removed the hook.
