Annual Park N Bark Set for May 10

Special Event Features $10 Pets, Cool Cars

FRIDAY, May 2, 2014 – Vintage car enthusiasts are gearing up for the annual Park N Bark event at the county’s main animal shelter on Saturday, May 10.

The volunteers from the Inland Empire Classic Mustang Club return to the Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter in Jurupa Valley for the annual car show and adoption event that features special adoption rates.

Riverside County Animal Services is offering pets on May 10th for $10. The super-special, “10-on-the-10th” adoption fee includes the pet’s spay or neuter surgery (if necessary), vaccinations and a microchip.

The car show is free to enjoy and runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The animal shelter stays open until 5 p.m.

The Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter is located at 6851 Van Buren Blvd., Jurupa Valley, Calif. 92509.

The car club is featuring silent auction items for a used pool table. There are also opportunity drawings.
